Custom Computers Sales and Service first opened its doors in 1996 on Sandbar Road in Windham, Maine. Glenn Twigg, retired from Verizon in December 1994; worked for Gordon Davis at MSC Computers in Harrison as his only in-shop technician for 2 years, until it closed in August 1996; then opened Custom Computers.

Custom Computers was acquired by a local Windham, Maine consulting firm - SystemArchitecture.NET - in June of 2011, and relocated their operation to 733 Roosevelt Trail to gain better exposure to the Route 302 traffic.
